Street Vendors
At the last meeting, Heather Kern discussed a problem on Second Street where sidewalk food vendors have been operating after 10 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. She asked folks who might have experienced this problem to write letters to the Long Beach Health Dept and the Business License Department asking officials to come in person to check out what is going on. She felt it is important for the city to educate vendors who might be violating the law.
Parking Commission Thursday Morning, November 21
As you heard at our last meeting, members are to attend the upcoming Parking Commission Meeting to give input on the proposed changes in parking meter hours. They will be meeting on November 21 at 9 AM, at the Firehouse Annex on Second Street. If you are not able to attend, you can send an email to Matt Peterson, Chair of the Commission via Kristina's office.
All of us at Friends of Belmont Shore would like to wish everyone the best holiday season!
